New Jersey is taking steps to protect young athletes from brain injuries and head trauma. If you or someone you love has suffered a brain injury, the New Jersey brain injury lawyers of Levinson Axelrod, P.A. may be able to help.
Medical evidence shows that repeated head contact, especially in football, can make players susceptible to long-term, brain tissue deterioration, which can lead to early dementia for former players. The New Jersey Interscholastic Athletics Association are enforcing a new policy. It will include a mandatory education for coaches to look for signs of concussion. It will also include mandatory treatment for athletes who are showing the sign of head trauma.
