A tragic fall from a trailer during a Halloween hay-ride in 2008 left a 9-year-old New Jersey boy paralyzed and unable to speak or see. The boy was diagnosed with traumatic brain injury after falling from the trailer while it was in motion and falling beneath the wheels of the vehicle. Since the accident, he has worked hard to recover, eventually becoming able to open his eyes and move parts of his mouth.
